Prism Palette is a Japanese comedy manga by Peach-Pit, serialized in the monthly shōnen Dengeki Comic Gao!. As the first publication of Peach-Pit, it was released as one volume and published in 2001.

PlotEdit

The main plot follows the main character, Masaki Shirai, as he spends his days at school, surrounded by beautiful girls.

CharactersEdit

Masaki Shirai

• A laid-back teen boy, who is also the protagonist of Prism Palette. As a poor student but an excellent gamer, he passes through the each boring day until his friends come along. He falls for the girl's looks, although sometimes ignorant to their feelings. Although he can be generally kind, he can be easily agitated, especially by his childhood friend, Yayoi.

Sakuragi Yayoi

• Shirai's childhood friend, who have met up once more after five years. She's considered shameless, as well as child-like, and usually has a short temper, but is very energetic. She is first introduced as the "Morning Tortoise", in which she was seen trying to jump over a wall into the school.

Momiji Ookura

• A perfect being, as Shirai says. She is a woman gifted with both intelligence and beauty, a Yamato Nadeshiko. She's very popular around the school, although people have different perspectives of her, being that she is shy and timid. She will sometimes overwork herself, to the point of exhaustion.

Asagiri Aiko

• A waitress at the Confetti Coffee Shop, in which her father owns. Tries to be independent, even if sometimes offered help. She treats certain things with specific care. In general, she is a happy person.

Mutsuki Sumire

• Recognized from the bells that tie her hair, Sumire is Shirai's sister's friend. She is Shirai's arch rival in the puzzle strategy at the arcade. In which, she is also extremely good, or "lucky", at the different arcade games. Likes certain objects that would not necessary be deemed likable or cute by others.

Yuuki

• As Shirai's friend, and Yayoi's childhood friend, Yuuki is a popular guy around his school. He barely has time for extracurricular activities, as he is always busy with various styles of work.
